Patient & Family Advisory Council
Our Mission
The mission of the Patient & Family Advisory Council at Pinckneyville Community Hospital is to provide a forum to patients and families to share feedback, suggestions, and ideas to continuously improve quality and patient care experiences.
Our goals are to:
- Continuously support quality improvement, communication and recommend solutions to existing services, programs, policies, communications and/or business strategies.
- Promote respectful, effective partnerships among patients, family and health care providers.
Committed to Partnerships
Committed to partnerships with patients, families, and community members, the Patient Family Advisory Council enhances the services provided by Pinckneyville Community Hospital.
Patients and family members will provide input regarding patients' needs and their experiences as patients of Pinckneyville Community Hospital. Input from our members will be integrated into ongoing process improvement efforts.

Membership
Membership on the Council requires your successful completion of the registration process with the Pinckneyville Community Hospital Education Department, including but not limited to:

Health screenings (includes: TB testing, flu immunization)

Criminal background check
-
Formal interview
Applicants selected will be required to attend a volunteer orientation.
Membership on the Council requires attendance at Council meetings and participation on at least one committee of your choice.
