Cancer Care & Infusion Clinic

Cancer Care & Infusion Clinic at Pinckneyville Community Hospital is an outpatient clinic that provides comprehensive medical care to people with cancer and blood disorders.

Patients needing infusions and injections for non-cancer related conditions are also treated in the Cancer Care & Infusion Clinic.

Our goal is to work in coordination with area physicians and hospitals to provide the best possible care through an integrated approach with emphasis on care close to home. No longer will you have the long drive to an unfamiliar city, the extended wait, or the difficult drive home after a chemotherapy treatment.

We strive to give patients the confidence they need to manage their disease and treatment options, through personal attention and compassionate care in order to continue to enjoy their quality of life.

Providing Care for Life

The Cancer Care & Infusion Clinic is staffed by registered nurses.

In addition to the nursing staff specific to the department, patients have access to services across the Hospital to aid in patient care, including:

Support Group
Social Services
Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy
Wound & Ostomy Care
Diabetes Education

Semi-private treatment areas allow conversation with neighboring patients, with the option of more privacy by simply draw-ing the wrap-around curtain. Patients who need to lie down during treatment, or just want to be alone, can use one of our pri-vate rooms.
